Hanasu-Jane

Jane is a Pittsburgh born artist that embraces the artists connection to Japanese and Native American Indian cultures. Jane has been an Artist and English teacher to Japanese women and children for decades and grew up immersed in her families friendship with numerous Native American Artists. Her creations are bright and multi-dimensional, active and textured. Closer examination of her artworks reveals layers of interwoven details and symbolisms. Natural light changes the colors and reflections in her paintings during different day parts.
Hanasu means to speak in Japanese.
